Jan Hruška is a postdoctoral researcher at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, focusing on democratic innovations. He defended his PhD at Masaryk University in October 2024. He has previously completed study and research stays at the University of Bologna and University College London, where he was awarded the Bracewell Scholarship. His work has been published in European Political Science Review, The Journal of Legislative Studies, Territory, Politics, Governance, and other peer-reviewed journals. His research interests also include democratic resilience, institutional trust and legitimacy, upper chambers, and CEE politics.
