Mgr. Vidomus Petr Ph.D.

I study and carry out research on the theory of social movements, focusing on conservative movements, climate movements and especially anti-environmentalism (climate skepticism). I published the first research in the Czech Republic on the topic of active Czech climate skepticism (Oteplí se a bude líp, 2018). I am also interested in the sociology of music, mainly the political and social context of jazz in the 1950s and the independent music press (fanzines, samizdat). I have published several studies on these topics. I actively collaborate with media such as ČT (Czech Television), Finmag, Seznam, Deník N.
