Mgr. Skalová Irena

I am a PhD student at the Institute of Political Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University. I hold a Master’s degree in Political Science from the Faculty of Social Sciences and study Czech History at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University. My research focuses on the use of history in political discourse, particularly symbolic politics and state honours as tools for shaping historical narratives. I also research civil society in the Czech Republic in the 1990s and its relationship to political representation. I have experience in qualitative research, interviews, archival work.
