I work as an assistant professor at the Department of Sociology, Faculty of Social Studies, Charles University. My expertise lies in the sociology of health and medicine and sociology of aging with a particular focus on gender aspects and depictions of aging. Within the SYRI project (National Institute for Research on the Socioeconomic Impacts of Diseases and Systemic Risks), I address the issue of risk construction in the context of vaccination policies and approaches of various actors to vaccination (not only in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic), and the topic of antibiotic resistance.
