I am an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University in Prague. Before that, I was a Lise Meitner postdoctoral fellow at the University of Vienna. My main research interests are social anthropology, cultural history, religious studies, and cultural heritage studies with a focus on Europe. I have published 10 books (monographs and edited volumes) as well as approximately 70 peer-reviewed journal articles and chapters, and I have delivered over 150 lectures and conference papers in about 30 countries.
