I hold a M.Phil. degree in Economics from University of Cambridge, and a PhD from Johns Hopkins University. Following my graduation, I then spent two years as a researcher at the European University Institute in Florence. Since 2007, I have worked at CERGE-EI and the think tank IDEA. My research focuses on labor and education economics, gender inequality, work-life balance, and the effects of entering university during a recession. Since 2023, I have worked on the Talent project supporting gifted children in Czechia.
