Bio →
I work as an analyst at the Institute of International Relations Prague, focusing primarily on China, authoritarian political regimes, political repression and the role of modern technologies as tools of societal control (also in connection with the so-called digital authoritarianism). I received PhD in political science from the Prague University of Economics and Business and completed study and research stays at universities in Taiwan (Taiwan Foundation for Democracy), China (BLCU, Zhejiang University), Russia (FEFU), and Sweden (Stockholm University). I teach courses on China and the impact of technology at the Czech Technical University.
