I am a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of International Relations Prague. I hold a Ph.D. in political sciences from Bikent University, Ankara, Turkey and an M.A. from Central University in Budapest. I am also an Associate Professor at the School of International Relations and Diplomacy at Anglo-American University in Prague (AAU). My research interests include democratization and regime changes, political parties and their systems, social movements, ethnic and religious politics, with particular focus on contemporary Turkey and the Middle East.
