I am an expert on water policy. Most of my work combines theory with robust empirical data sets. After completing my PhD on the role of national water security in 2018, I moved to Kunming for a postdoctoral fellowship focusing on rivers in South and Southeast Asia. I am currently completing my second postdoctoral fellowship at Yunnan University and working as the Director General of the Institute for Hydropolitics and Water Diplomacy (RIVALIS) at Jan Evangelista Purkyně University, where we focus on Eurasian international water issues.
