PhDr. Lizcová Zuzana Ph.D.

I am the head of the Department of German and Austrian Studies at the Institute of International Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University (IMS FSV UK, since 2019) and a journalist. I focus on German-speaking countries, their role in the international context and their bilateral relations with the Czech Republic. In 2004–2013, I worked in the documentation department of the Czech Press Office (ČTK), where I specialized in German-speaking countries and the countries of Central and Eastern Europe. After that, I also worked as an independent journalist and analyst for the Association for International Affairs (AMO).
