I am a sociologist and social gerontologist. I work as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Sociology, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana and co-founded the Center for Research on Aging (CERA). I serve as President of ISA RC11, Chair of the Czech Government’s Committee on the Rights of Older People, and collaborate with senior advocacy and outreach organizations. At SYRI (National Institute for Research on the Socioeconomic Impacts of Diseases and Systemic Risks), I develop methodologies for rescue services to better protect the health of the aging population.
