Bio →
I am an assistant professor of political geography at the Department of Social Geography and Regional Development at the Faculty of Political Science, Charles University. I have long been involved with geopolitics and nationalism, specializing in the regions of the former Soviet Union, Southeastern Europe and the Middle East. My current projects concern research on the identities of national minorities in the post-Soviet region, the formation of geopolitical discourse in conflict environments and research on the effect of phantom borders in Europe.
