I am an anthropologist, researching social networks and internet culture. My research topics include the role of influencers in media and political communication, the spread of disinformation and conspiracy narratives on social networks, and the reproduction of social and gender inequalities in the online environment. Within the SYRI project (National Institute for Research on the Socioeconomic Impacts of Diseases and Systemic Risks), I am studying the role of influencers and internet opinion leaders in crisis communication, and the impacts of digital platforms on the labour market.
