As a sociologist, I focus on the methodology of social science research. I am particularly interested in epistemology and survey methodology. I also study the social class from the perspective of cultural sociology. My home institution is the Institute of Sociology at the Czech Academy of Sciences and its CSDA department (Czech Social Science Data Archive. I teach sociology at the Faculty of Education, Technical University of Liberec (TUL), and methodology and data management at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University, Prague.
