Mgr. SAHILL Pamir PhD

I hold a PhD in International Relations and teach at Anglo-American University, Prague. Aside from publishing peer-reviewed articles in reputable journals, I am the author of "Turbulent Afghanistan" (Routledge) which critically examines the US state and security building in Afghanistan and the Taliban’s rise to power. I spent 20 years working as a journalist covering Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran and the broader South and West Asian region. My research interests include security, terrorism, gender studies, political Islam, and changing international order.
