I conduct empirical policy-oriented economic research in the areas of the labour market, education, social areas including taxes and benefits, and I carry out general evaluation of the impacts of public policies. My expertise is the issue of science evaluation, mainly that of basic research, and the related bibliometric, or rather scientometric, analyses and research. I have relatively extensive practical experience with the functioning of state administration and public policy making, as well as experience from a number of national and international advisory bodies.
