I am an economist working at the Faculty of Economics and Administration of Masaryk University. My main research focus is electoral behaviour such as economic voting or the role of selected factors (attention, homophily, electoral calculators) in an environment of imperfect information. Another area of my research interest is causal relationships related to selected historical episodes generating exogenous unexpected shocks in border regions (communism, (dis-)integration episodes). My research interest also covers foreign trade and economic sanctions.
