I am a professor of political sociology at the University of Vienna, specializing in the role of emotions in democratic societies. I received my habilitation at Sciences PO in Paris and am a Faculty Fellow at the Yale University Center for Cultural Sociology. In addition to my scientific work, I contribute to various periodicals and discussion programs on Czech Television and Czech Radio. In 2022, I published a popular educational book for children "Why Swear Words Exist". Also in 2022, my feminist play "The Hour of a Woman" was performed by Divadlo Feste.
