I am a senior researcher at the Center for Governance of Emerging Technologies. I have worked at ENS,Paris, Queen Mary University of London and Goethe University Frankfurt, and taught in Reims, Frankfurt and Bremen. My area of expertise is the study of international security and the effects of digital technologies on security practice and wider society. I have studied disinformation, surveillance and digital security. I am currently conducting research on digital sovereignty, semiconductor policy and broader questions concerning the role of private companies in this area.
