I am an assistant professor at the Department of Media Studies and Journalism, Faculty of Social Sciences, Masaryk University. My research work specializes in informal political online discussions in the social networks area, with a particular focus on elements of rudeness, intolerance and the topic of polarization. Within the SYRI project (National Institute for Research on the Socioeconomic Impacts of Diseases and Systemic Risks), my main focus is on political communication and online participation - characteristics and barriers in times of crisis.
