I am the Head of the Department of North American Studies at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University. I currently focus especially on American foreign policy, transatlantic relations and US trade policy. I also work as a researcher at the Peace Research Center Prague and have previously worked as a visiting researcher at the School of Public and International Affairs at North Carolina State University and the University of Regensburg. Before entering academia, I was the Head of Section at the Department of European Programs of the Ministry of Justice, Czech Republic.
