I am a researcher at the Institute of International Relations Prague. I studied political science at Lyon 2 University (Ph.D.), Sciences Po Lyon (Ma.), and Sciences Po Toulouse (Bc.), in France. I lectured at universities in Cairo, Paris, Lyon and Prague. My professional interests involve comparative politics of the MENA region, political party systems, social movements, and regime changes. I have worked as a researcher at the CNRS (France), the CEDEJ (Egypt), and the Oriental Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences. I have been involved in an ERC-founded project, TARICA.
